    I think it was either amavisd or spamassassin, so I've disabled them both for
    the moment until I can figure out what the problem is. Thanks for the tip!

    Of course I had to go read the mail archives online via the web to look for
    any answers to my problem, because I couldn't read the replies sent via mail,
    because my mail server was shot - thank goodness for the 'net, and built-in
    redundancy :-)
