Hello, hopefully someone out there has done this before. What I'm trying to do is setup a mail server for a website. The site will allow members to log in and to send out emails. The major feature I need is for any error that postfix encounters to be sent to the account holder. The account holder user will not have an email address on this system. For example:
- account holder of my system
- someone person1 wants to email
- the email used in the "mail from:" field since spoofing is not kosher anymore
So, when I try:
------------<telnet>--------------
mail from:
rcpt to:
data
From:
To:
Reply-To:
Subject: test message
test
.
-----------<telnet>------------------
The errors get sent to the donotreply account and not to the account holder on my system (person1).
Since "" is not checked, and will be configured to not hold any mail, how do I get postfix to send the errors correctly?
Is there any way to do this with postfix?
If this has been asked before, sorry for duplicating a question. I did search, but my keywords may not have been the correct ones for finding what I'm looking for.
