    Why can't people read?

    1 TO REPORT A PROBLEM see http://www.postfix.org/DEBUG_README.html#mail
    2
    3 TO (UN)SUBSCRIBE see http://www.postfix.org/lists.html

    5 Thank you for using Postfix.

    postconf -n
    would be useful here.

    Oddly enough, my crystal ball is getting a good reading on this one
    though, it says your postconf -n will have
    smtpd_sasl_type = dovecot

    and that
    smtpd_sasl_path
    does not sync up with
    socket listen {
    ...
    client {
    path =
    ...
    }
    }
    in dovecot.conf
