    Absolutely.

You can direct to spamassassin, or to other content filters such as the
    outstanding amavisd-new:

    http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/

for full antivirus/antispam scanning. There's nothing dubious about
    amavisd-new.

    Trivially.

    > * Mailing lists (or the ability to work with ezmlm or Majordomo)

No built in mailing list management - use majordomo, mailman, etc. Postfix
works fine with any well written list software.

    Check

Check. But consider converting to Maildir's instead.

There are various opinions about this, but there is good support. It's best
to let others more knowledgeable respond to this one, but there's no big
    problem here.

There are plenty of good HowTo, tutorials, and helpful links on the main
postfix.org site, and the postfix documentation itself is very well written.
Start by working through those and get the basic concepts of how postfix
works. I'd also recommend placing an order for The Book of Postfix
(http://www.postfix-book.com/), which will walk you though the basic,
intermediate, and advanced concepts on pretty much all of the above.

Finally, in my opinion the experts on this list are simply superb in their
helpfulness, depth of knowledge, and guidance.
