Hi, I have got postfix working with mysql but in my /var/log/mail.log
    file I see this :

warning: dict_nis_init: NIS domain name not set - NIS lookups disabled

I know this has already been answered here by :

"remove the references to nis from your config.
    postconf | grep nis "

But first I would like to know what a NIS domain is, and if I need to
set it or not ... I don't like just deleting options without knowing
    what they do...

    Thanks in advance

    Richard
