Go buy Ralf and Patrick's "Book of Postfix". This helped me
tremendously when my LDAP was very weak. Still is, but because of
that book, I have a handle on it. This is the one I reach for the
most when I have something to solve.
A good companion book is the Postfix Definitive Guide, from O'Reilly.
This one doesn't delve into too much non-postfix stuff (ie no courier)
but is extremely useful. I've only found a couple places that
explained things in a different way from Ralf and they made more sense
in this book.
Get those and you'll be good to go.
