I wonder why there are two alias files. I mean, my postfix operation
includes an alias_maps file and a alias_database file. Both are called
'aliases' and are in different directories.
I guess what concerns me the most is that I am using the same aliases file
in both of these two different directories. I believe that nothing is
ever written to those two files other than what I might add, so if the
same file is used as both a resource or support file for 'alias_maps' and
for 'alias_database' than why can't there be just ONE file in ONE
location?
Maybe if one of these two aliases files were different it might mean
something? And maybe they really are different. But in my case I have the
same file in these two different locations??
Anyone please?
