Aren't there enough webmail providers yet? Most are used by spammers and
identity fakers anyway.

Have you really been careless enough to use a valuable domain for your
public webmail service?

Did you forget to set up a use policy allowing you to reimburse the
SORBS penalty from that abuser?

If so you well deserve to pay these 50$ yourself.

Don't get me wrong, I am not an advocate of SORBS, they even had my IP
incorrectly blacklisted as dynamic which caused me a lot of problems and
took a long time to get solved. But as long as not all nations sue their
spammers I am happy that private organisations like SORBS take on this
task.

I agree that it is not fair to donate the money to a charity chosen by
Matthew Sullivan but I guess this is his "payment" for running SORBS.
For my part I would rather have him pay some staff and let the payees
vote for a charity they want to support.
