How are the permissions to this file? Is it really readable for Postfix?
Post the file again, please. There are many reasons, speaking for, that the
file is not beeing read.
First "mysql_verbose", with this option sasl should log at least one message
more.
Second "mech_list: plain", with this Option only "PLAIN" should be offered.
