no, it hurts too much to pull it out, otherwise I would be hairless!

Ok, then it might not be what I am looking for, after reading your

You know, I am moving from qmail to postfix because of SpamAssassin.
Currently there are only two people that use the domain for mail,
myself and my wife. My point is that I really don't want this to be
real complex, I just want to be able to eliminate the spam for both
of us.
I have my wifes email configured correctly, I created the correct
allias to redirect her mail to her yahoo account that that works
fine. Now I just need to get my email configured. I know that I
could spend weeks learning everything there is to know about MTU's
so that the man pages make sense to me, I was just hoping to find
someone on this mailing list that would be willing to enlighten me
as to what I needed to do to get postfix to deal with all the damn
email address I created with qmail...
This is how I have qmail configured:
There is a user on the UNIX (NetBSD) machine via username carleton.
carleton's email address, that is me, is scarleton. With qmail, I
have created over 30 other emails to manage what happens to incoming
mail. I have created this accounts with what I believe is called
qmails dots. In other words, I have one address:
, along with many, many others.
It is my understanding that postfix can be configured to function
the same way, where mail that comes in for
is sent to carleton and is
processed by carleton's ~/.forward-onlinesales file. That is all I
want to do.
Others have made it clear that this is a stupid, ignorent way of
doing things and I promise never to allow another user, if there is
ever another user (like my kids) to ever do this type of thing.
Is there someone that can help me out with out giving me shit? I am
getting enough of that from the wife about all the spam that is
coming through the system. (I know that it isn't my system, buy
yahoo, but there isn't any telling her that<grin>)
