Hey,
I just set up a system running Fedora C1 and Postfix 2.0.11. The intent of the
system is to relay mail to the true mail server after filtering it. Right now
when I connect to the smtp service using telnet, I only get a blinking cursor
(no matter how long I leave the session open). When I stop postfix and run
sendmail, it works fine. I've also tried to set this up on a system running
Mandrake 9.2 and I've had the same problem. The system is NAT'd behind a
firewall which allows traffic on port 25.
I would really prefer to go with Postfix since its much more secure than other
options, but I'm running into a wall here. What have I overlooked?
Thanks,
Bryan
