There's a real language barrier for some. I started learning Dutch when
I was around 33; I speak and write it fluently and correctly now, but
I'll never forget what confusion and even disbelief there was in those
first years (background Norwegian, French and English) with: "They can't
possibly mean that, they must mean that other". So you do "that other".
Lucky I never landed in Jail ;)
