Your confidence in Lutz is not an issue in this case. It is not Lutz that
personally ensures the continuity of TCP streams carrying SSL traffic over
the internet. It is claimed that Lutz's code reports Layer 4 errors to the
user. If the errors messages don't originate in OpenSSL, but are formed in
the Postfix/SSL glue, it is clear that Lutz can improve at least this
specific error report.
