Yea I was looking at the wrong log file :( before.
postconf inet_interfaces comes back with
bash$:\inet_interfaces = all
that's what it should be isn't it?

This is what the sender gets sent back and this is also what gets sent
to the root at localhost account. It comes from
Mail Delivery System <>
