yes, same problem
gnu patch misplaces some chunk of tls patch when applied to 20040122
one in smtp.c causing a segfault, another in smtpd.c causing tls not to
be initialized. (patch -F 1 catches those)

an adapted tls patch that seems to work can be found at:
