Null client= definition

Normally an incoming message has a client= definition, such as
client=russian-caravan.cloud9.net, that can be tested in client_checks.
However, local messages to a local account are initially processed by pickup
and appear to have a null client= definition. E.g.,

Jan 1 01:54:45 www postfix/pickup[2324]: 1988EE0591: uid=0 from=<root>

Jan 1 01:54:45 www postfix/cleanup[2780]: 1988EE0591:
message-id=<>

Jan 1 01:54:45 www postfix/nqmgr[2325]: 1988EE0591: from=<>,
size=3087, nrcpt=1 (queue active)

Jan 1 01:54:45 www postfix/local[2782]: 1988EE0591: to=<>,
orig_to=<>, relay=local,
delay=1, status=sent (mailbox)

If one wanted to test for the null client= definition, such as in the above
example, in client_checks, what pattern would be used?

Happy New Year!

Thanks, Mike.
