smtpd not starting

Hi all,

I'm new to postfix so I apologize for any obvious to solve questions.

The problem is: I have a quite simple postfix-cyrus-imap setup and the
postfix smtpd-command seems to run into trouble as I repeatedly get
warnings like:

Dec 1 19:47:26 ns3 postfix/master[1925]: warning: process
/usr/libexec/postfix/smtpd pid 1929 exit status 127
Dec 1 19:47:26 ns3 postfix/master[1925]: warning:
/usr/libexec/postfix/smtpd: bad command startup -- throttling

When I "telnet localhost smtp" I get nothing more than:

Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to ns3.
Escape character is '^]'.

Main.cf is:

myhostname = xxx.de
mydestination = $myhostname localhost.$mydomain
local_transport = cyrus
mailbox_transport = cyrus
relayhost =
queue_directory = /var/spool/postfix
command_directory = /usr/sbin
daemon_directory = /usr/libexec/postfix
mail_owner = postfix
unknown_local_recipient_reject_code = 450
debug_peer_level = 2
debugger_command =
   PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin
   xxgdb $daemon_directory/$process_name $process_id & sleep 5
sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail
newaliases_path = /usr/bin/newaliases
mailq_path = /usr/bin/mailq
setgid_group = postdrop
manpage_directory = /usr/local/man
sample_directory = /etc/postfix
readme_directory = no

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
Daniel
