Hi there,
I have recently migrated from a sendmail platform to postfix
(postfix-2.0.14-1.rh73.i386.rpm) on Redhat 7.3.
I have a few unix scripts that in the past send mail from the machine to
various users using the "/usr/sbin/sendmail" command.
When I use the same syntax from the script it spits out the following error:
[root at spock root]# /usr/sbin/sendmail -v <
/dev/null
postfix/postfix-script: fatal: usage: postfix start (or stop, reload,
abort, flush, or check)
[root at spock root]#
What am I doing wrong ?
How should I use postfix to send mail from the unix command line ?
Regards,
Hennie
