Ok, let me clean up some of my email residu and try it this way.
I am trying to setup all my domains, including $mydomain so they
delivery to virtual mailboxes, to virtual aliases AND local users.
I want to end up having
-> virtual mailbox somewhere in /var/virtual/<..>
-> forwarded to an existing email address.
-> dropped in regular unix \user mailbox locally
What I meant to say was that I have this done now for all the domains I
am the final destination for, except for $mydomain.
I want this for $mydomain too if at all possible.

It should follow the same path I laid out before.
It should be dropped in a virtual_mailbox if defined, or it should be
forwarded or dropped in a spoolfile according to the defined
$virtual_alias_maps.
I hope I make some more sense now. Let me know.
