A similar trick (for the rare times anyone here can use it)...
I had a web site that was used for information only (i.e., no email) but
typical email addresses were aliased to me just in case someone sent email
to one of them (i.e., -> me) and then I started getting
mailbombed. Not bounces, these were TO addresses in blahblah.com.
So, I pointed the MX record for the domain to 127.0.0.1 - localhost.
The number of situations in which you can use it are very small, but if you
have one, it works great.
