well, I know we're way offtopic here, but I thought you guys might
appreciate one of those "stupid newbie" stories.

I was writing a simple shell script to run a terminal with certain
parameters. What I didn't realize was that in copying and pasting, the
shell script was calling itself. Soooooooo...

by the time I could type

kill `pidof "script"`

I had over 5000 running processes!

Give it to Linux tho, machine did not even complain, just kept trying to
keep running them.
