I just recently upgraded to FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE and I started getting
strange syslog message every night at about 3 AM.
I found out that the issue/problem is that Postfix doesn't grok the
-A option which can be suppied (I gather) to sendmail and/or sendmail's
`mailq' command:
# cd /etc/periodic/daily
# fgrep -n -e -A *
440.status-mailq:47: mailq -Ac |
440.status-mailq:54: mailq -Ac;;
500.queuerun:27: /usr/sbin/sendmail -q -Ac >/dev/null 2>&1 &
I just wanted to report this small sendmail incompatability, in case
it had not already been reported.
