Are you sure about that I am using the same maillog as when sendmail was
being used on this box. And like I said there a rbl denies in the log
file but in my daily update it shows up as nothing. On FreeBSD if you
look under /etc/periodic/daily you will see all the scripts that scan
the log file looking for denies then sends root the email once a day, so
it is not the syslog daemon alone. Also mailstats does not work as it
did with sendmail I actually had to use a special mailstats script to
see the mailstats of postfix and to try and use with MRTG. So I am sure
the daily script needs to be changed in some sort of fashion how I do
not know, anyone else out there with postfix on FreeBSD 4.7 see the same
thing? I looked through the archives that is how I found out about the
special mailstats script you must have, but I saw nothing in reference
to the denies in the maillog.
New to postfix so sorry if this has been asked before.

Logging for rejects etc is controlled by your syslog daemon. If you can
view the log, and the log name is the same as when sendmail was running,
then there is no reason (other than header/body checks / content_filter)
for you to not receive the status mails.
