The ezmlm warnings from securityfocus.com would be benign EXCEPT that what
they say they're going to do is a complete lie. Ezmlm claims intent to send
a small probe message to the recipient to test for bouncing again, and keep
the person on the list if that succeeds ... but as far as I can tell these
probes are NEVER sent, and people are just nuked off the lists automatically
anyways.
This means that one or two bounces to securityfocus list recipients for,
say, bad content or relayed spam are effectively treated as FATAL to that
person's subscription, not as transient failures to be ignored. The
person then has to re-join the list manually.
And the postmasters/listowners at SF never answer their mail, such that
this issue can even be discussed with them.
