Only snapshots support SASLv2.
You dont need SASLv2 for authd.

These SASL-packages by Tuomo Soini work nicely with Postfix.

In case you haven't installed any RPM's yet to your RH8, dont be surprised
if rpm itself hangs while trying to install/remove/upgrade a package.
There should still be an open ticket at Bugzilla, havent checked for a
while.
