I'm not entirely sure what that means, but in my main.cf I have this:
virtual_mailbox_maps=mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virt.cf
virtual_maps=mysql:/etc/postfix/virtual.cf

And in mysql_virt.cf:
user=postfix
password=***
dbname=maildb
table=users
select_field=maildir # This is
/var/spool/postfix/virtual/domain.com/kihlbom/Maildir/ for

where_field=id #
hosts=localhost

And in virtual.cf
user=postfix
password=***
dbname=maildb
table=virtual
select_field=goto # domain.com (Postfix style virtual domain, right?)
where_field=address # whatever
hosts=localhost
