We have just implemented Dr Web antivirus server and are very pleased with
it.

It costs about 500 Euro/Dollars per server/unlimited domains. We check
several virtual domain through the AV Deamon without problems.

Dr. Web has a included script that updates the virus definitions and as far
as I know also the engine.

Dr. Web can be configured to scan per domain, using a simpel lookup file
where the to be scanned domains are in. It has also SPAM filters included,
which seems to be quite flexible in the config, but we didn't enable that
feature yet. It has also checks/blocks for 'mailbomb' things etc.

Dr. Web even seems to support this either, but we don't have tested this
also.

You should take a look at www.sald.com. They have additional client-install
files (free) for Postfix and other mailservers. The servers are running on
Linux, FreeBSD abd Solaris now (And windows, but heh). You can download a
demo version, and request a 3 days full license key for testing.

It seems that this virusscanner engine is number one in russia for years,
but is just become 'known' in the western world ;)

Our developer are also quite happy with the engine, telling me it's a robust
thing and really good ported to *NIX..

(Damn, it's look like I'm a promotor of Dr Web now ;) Posting two messages
about this one within 24 hours or so, well I'm just happy with the product
for now... ;) )
