Troubles sending mail from a dialup postfix + freebsd 4.6
The dialup use isdn+user PPP with no firewall rules
We've got lot of error like this :
-Queue ID- --Size-- ----Arrival Time---- -Sender/Recipient-------
813A25F2 1901181 Fri Sep 27 10:57:46
(lost connection with smtp.fakedomain2.net[126.96.36.199] while sending message body)
Thoses errors only happend with big mails (about 1Mo and more), as if
it happend only when the dialup connection is very busy (1000/2000 ms
pings), hundreds of <100Ko mails goes thru the system each day.
When it happend the dialup connection hangup after few minutes (1-2
First i think it is a connection problem but there's no error when
doing FTP (even with 10Mo files) or staying connected for several
hours without flushing the postfix queue.
Should i change timeout values in postfix conf ? On the dialup system
or on the relay system ?
If i'm in the wrong list please tell me where to move my post.
