Yes, that sucks. qmail replaces an IP address literal by a domain
name. Perhaps Postfix should do this too. The workaround now is to
have canonical map entries and that is inelegant.
Postfix queries the canonical (or virtual) map for @[number] and
expects a reply of @domain (or anything that a canonical or
virtual map can return).
