well, it seems to be working actually, the script must have configured
these rpm's as well.

I may have to add to my startup script though, not sure

You'll have to bear with me, I'm not clueless, but not too proficient at
'nix. On a stock redhat 7.2 install, I went with the tarball:

In the README: "A script to do all the fetching and create RPMs for the
perl modules is named contrib/getfromcpan"

It seems to work, and apparently fetched the RPM's - but where did it
put them?

I'm not sure what to do next.

pop-before-smtp looks like the safest way for me to go since I won't
have to rebuild postfix, but I must confess to needing a little more
step by step than most people.
