I thought it would be:
check_sender_access btree:/mumble,
   # line continuation
   rhsbl:/etc/postfix/rhsbl_sender_domain

anyway, to be absolustely sure, I now use
   ...
   check_recipient_access btree:/etc/postfix/recipient_checks,
   check_sender_access btree:/etc/postfix/sender_checks,
   check_sender_access rhsbl:/etc/postfix/rhsbl_sender_domain,
   ...

Which seems to work.
