Hello.
Our company have a rather odd position, currently using
Post.Office servers behind a spamgate wich is a postfix.
We also have other host wich are both bsd and non-bsd (ie
windows) wich means we cant realy use pop-before smtp
even with the tools at hand (dracd, pop-before-smtp.pl).
And perhaps more people have postfix smtp and other
incopatible hosts behind.
Well anyways to the point it were going to wirite a
windows port-mapper which listens 110 and forwards to
a protected port (like 111 or whatever) and tracks
communication and produced a postfix complatible
file with allowable hosts for relay (this could then
be read via nfs or samba or something).
This ofcause is just a temp solution (but works very
well with the 50000 simultanius connections we tried) untill
someone gets their tumbs out and do real migration.
If you are intrested in source/binarys please mail
Sincearly
