More logs, please.
E.g. all logs starting with a "postfix start" and then an unsuccessful
sending (?) attempt.

You can receive, but not send. Why is postfix/smtpd (it does
receiving!) give you troubles? How do you inject your mail? How does
your config look like (postconf -n only!!)
