Thanks guys. Looks like adding that -v is a great way to troubleshoot
problems with postfix.
After adding that to master.cf. I tried sending a few attachments through
the server and then
looked at the logs. I found references to something strange. Notice the
output below
has "Monday February 11th: 5pm - 7pm" as a lookup for a regexp.
Feb 4 10:26:59 toadalmail postfix/cleanup[15914]: dict_regexp_lookup:
/etc/post
fix/body_checks: Monday February 11th: 5pm - 7pm
I remember copying and accidentally pasting some text which had that day and
time
information into a telnet window. I was meaning to paste the
text into an e-mail message window but I ALT+TAB'd to the wrong window
(yeah,
I know. I'm a bonehead) and pasted it into the telnet window which I believe
was
running the build process for the new postfix version. That's the only way I
can
figure out how that text could possibly have gotten on the server. Is there
any
logical explanation for this? I just tried rebuilding postfix again and the
problem
still persists. Any suggestions? I bet this is a new one for everyone.
Thanks!
Rod
