I found the book a bit disappointing really.
Too thin on the ground in some areas which are, or seem to be, confusing
to many. And *why* do these books waste so many pages on telling you how
to install the software, this information is not required in most cases.
(Since it is so easily available anyway).
The man who wrote it also wrote a less than useful book on sendmail.
I see he has just published one on qmail as well.
Nice to see a man with a hobby.
Actually the most useful book I have found, that has helped me
understand Postfix better, and the q/a's on the list is a book that
is not specific to Postfix at all. It is called "Internet Email
Protocols - A Developer's Guide", by Kevin Johnson. Addison-Wesley.
I see it costs $44.95 in the US, it was about 3 times that in the
Netherlands, but I recommend it highly.
