Hi,

What are people's viws on SMTP Proxies? Should you use one? If
not, what functionality do you lose? or just, why not?

I am thinking of a set up like:

Internet ---> SMTP Proxy (in DMZ)
---> Postfix server (on Internal Network)
---> Groupware server (on Internal Network)

or

Internet ---> SMTP Proxy (in DMZ)
---> Postfix server (on in DMZ)
---> Groupware server (on Internal Network)

similarly, what about POP3 proxies? worth the effort?

thanks for any thoughts,

adrian
