Btw - you can get the same effect as applying the patch by putting
the following in your imapd.conf:

sync_batch_size: 4294967295

Yeah, that magic number is (2^32 - 1) INT_MAX in other words. This is
what the patch does anyway.

(or you can set it somewhere middling. We set it to 1000)
