on the sendmail lmtp server in imapd.conf look for

    lmtpproxy_authname: user
    lmtpproxy_password: pwd

    lmtpsocket: /spool/lmtp.socket

and on the imap add proxyusers.....

    imapserver_password: pwd

    proxy_authname: user

    All in the manual.
