How do I allow the creation of local folders on a ssl imap server

    I have a created and ssl imap server and it works great.
    The mail reader which I am using is mozilla mail, which I like,
    mainly becuase I am familiar with it.

    I also have another pop account which is managed by my internet
    provider. Why can I create local folders under the pop account and
    not on the imap/ssl account. I would really like to create
    local folders under the imap/ssl account.
