    I should have guessed it was the roken glob.h issue. Sigh.

    Well, either link libroken in (and thus use the roken glob) or remove
    /usr/local/include/glob.h

    The former is presumably
    setenv LDFLAGS -lroken; ./configure
    the latter is obvious
