Earlier master processes didn't deal properly with time warping -- and in
such a case they'll try to execute every event between the beginning of
the time warp and the current time.

So, thats what happened. Newer versions of cyrus should deal properly
(atleast current CVS, possibly 2.2.3 as well -- I just don't recall
exactly).
