OS: Slackware Linux 8.0 with kernel 2.2.19
SMTP: Exim 3.3
Pop3: Qpopper
Cyrus-IMAP: 2.1.1
I use local users to authentify for email, local spool /var/mail.
All just I want is to build imap server for those mailboxes to use it
natively and with webmail too.

I have compiled cyrus-sasl2 libs and installed succesfully, putted them
under /usr/lib/sasl2 as it was asked. Then I installed Cyrus-IMAP,
created imapd.conf, cyrus.conf and configuration directory with log and
proc. I launched master with flag -D and seems that imap service was up
according to nmap.
But when I tried to get connection trough cyradm --server 192.168.0.3,
it's just gets frozen and to nothing. In Syslogs nothing appears so I
just stop it with ctrl+c. It's just the same when I try to connect to
server with Evolution 1.0.2, it's just shows such message like Scanning
folders on host.

Is there any walktrough trough this - t.i. build an imap service over
local user mailboxes?
What I'm supposted to do?

Peteris Krisjanis.
