Hi all,
my Linux box is running:
MTA: Postfix-20010228-pl04 + pgsql patch
POP/IMAP: Cyrus-imapd-2.0.16 + INBOX autocreate patch.
The Cyrus user quota is set at 10MB.
in /etc/postfix/main.cf there is:
[...]
mailbox_transport = cyrus
fallback_transport = cyrus
virtual_maps = pgsql:/etc/postfix/pgsql_valiases
[...]
When the user quota is exceeded, Postfix defers mail with instead of bounce
to original sender with something like 'error: quota exceeded'.
This is the maillog:
[...]
Sep 3 18:12:14 dell2 postfix/qmgr[11279]: ADEFFE2BB8:
from=<>, size=97913, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Sep 3 18:12:14 dell2 postfix/pipe[11291]: ADEFFE2BB8:
to=<>, relay=cyrus, delay=6443, status=deferred
(temporary failure)
[...]
The question is:
Why is that?
How can I fix?
I'd like to bounce immediately the mail back to its sender.
Thanks all.
