saslauthd and pam_krb5

    So I'm getting the idea that saslauthd and pam_krb5 are not meant to be
    used together. I suffer from:

    Mar 11 00:31:53 tor saslauthd[12923]: ipc_loop : socket accept
    failure
    Mar 11 00:31:53 tor saslauthd[12923]: ipc_loop : accept:
    Interrupted system call

    But I haven't been able to find a clear explanation of this
    incompatibility.

    I guess I should be using the kerberos5 mechanism instead of pam ...
    But what does someone do if they need to use a stack of modules, of
    which krb5 is the only obstacle?
