We have that happen if we index a *large* amount of data.... Redhat
2.4.7-10smp with ext3 filesystem.

Now, we run index 8 hours a day and do an index -D once per week and
we're fine.

We found before that we would index 24 hours a day for 5 or 6 days and
then run Index -D and get that result. Since we changed our indexing
times and didn't see the problem, I didn't think about it too much..
