Hi all,
First off -- great search engine!!
Now, on to my question -- we're trying to get ASPseek rolled out on our
site. We will be indexing 4 or 5 separate sites that all need to be
searched INDIVIDUALLY.
Please have a look here:
http://optometry.osu.edu/cgi-bin/opt.cgi
I've set the s.htm file (in this case 'opt.htm') to append ?st=1 in the
<form> command. However, when you enter a search word (I use "eye" for a
test), the ?st=1 gets stripped, and we get results from multiple sites.
To see what I mean, first search for "eye" by entering it in the search form
here:
http://optometry.osu.edu/cgi-bin/opt.cgi
Then look at this link which is the same page, just with "&st=1" appended to
the URL:
http://optometry.osu.edu/cgi-bin/s.cgi?q=eye&ps=20&o=0&st=1
There are MANY more results, as there should be, on the page limited to
st=1. How do you make this permanent, so that it always gets passed by the
script?
Please advise soonest, thanks!!!
